XIII открытый Чемпионат СПБ
В Санкт-Петербурге 6 ноября 2016 года был проведен ежегодный традиционный открытый Чемпионат города по самбо среди ветеранов. По международным правилам, спортсмены перешагнувшие 35-летний рубеж, считаются ветеранами. Соревнования проходят по возрастным группам начиная с 35 лет с интервалом в каждой возрастной группе в 5 лет. Ветераны старше 60 лет , борются в одной возрастной группе. Встречи в этой возрастной группе ограничены временем в 3 минуты. Встречи в остальных возрастных группах по 4 минуты. Все борцы проходят взвешивание и выступают в своих весовых категориях. В соревнованиях приняли участие ветераны Санкт-Петербурга, Москвы, Украины, Белоруссии, Карелии, Карачаево — Черкессии, Мурманска, Петрозаводска, Владимира, Сарова. Наиболее представительная делегация мастеров-ветеранов, как всегда, была из Москвы. Разыгрывался Чемпионат города в личных соревнованиях (первенство), во всех весовых категориях и возрастных группах. По положению о соревнованиях, в команде из 3 участников, боролись ветераны-мастера в среднем весе, полутяжелом весе и в тяжелой весовой категории свыше 100кг. Суммарный возраст 3 ветеранов в команде должен быть не менее 130 лет. Первое место заняла команда мастеров-ветеранов Санкт-Петербурга и была награждена большим кубком за I командное место, а участники медалями и дипломами I степени. Второе место заняла команда Карелии, участники которой награждались серебряными медалями, дипломами и кубком за II место. Третье место заняла команда Москвы, она была награждена кубком за III место, а участники бронзовыми медалями и дипломами III степени. Победителями абсолютного первенства стали: 1 место: Остроухов М.А. (г.Санкт-Петербург) 2 место: Пинегин Ю.А. (г.Саров) 3 место: Козорец Р.В. (г.Петрозаводск) Согласно Плану-календарю очередной XIV Чемпионат состоится в марте 2017г и будет проходить в спорткомплексе Газпрома на ул.Асафьева д.10.
